2 - Reflect
Often when we feel alone we begin begin to walk the paths of doubt that lead us away from the Lord. We think that perhaps our existence does not impact anyone, or that none of our brethren feel compassion for what is happening to us. Depressed and trapped in our thoughts we can become dark beings, who do not frequent anyone and no longer leave our homes. That may be a dangerous practice, since we will completely lose contact with reality and the divine that connects us with our brethren. Allowing our Heavenly Father into our homes will require an act of courage.
Getting close to our faith is the only thing that will rescue us from our personal hell. Rebuilding our lives will be easier if we remember that we will never be alone, but God the Father will always be there to guide us and pick us up when we feel that everything is lost. Listening to our own silence will also lead us to explore other new facets as Christians and devout children. Knowing ourselves deeply is how we reach God, to know exactly what the best path is we have to guide ourselves through life. The gift of fraternity and love for our neighbors come hand in hand with healing our faith.
