2 - Reflect
When it is our turn to go through a great pain such as a deception or the loss of someone near to us, we usually begin to think of the danger we often face. Without realizing it we may expose ourselves to situations in which we could end up hurt and we think "what would happen if....?". By believing that nothing can affect us we do not show that deep down we are vulnerable and we all need bravery and strength in some situations that are not covered in joy.
God is always alert to our safety and care. In His hands is the protection we need and we place our trust in Him. In His word is the guidance we need in order to build our path. The Lord will always be the refuge we can turn to when we believe nothing makes sense. He will be the strength and will that we cannot find in moments of desolation and sadness. Our God assumed the commitment to our welfare as we assume that of being faithful and devout children. We will often be tempted to abandon all we set out to do, to stop trying something, or ever deprive ourselves of being happy because in that moment we are having a bad time. But our Father will reach out and lift us up, and we will be able to live in rejoicing and peace.
