Exercise patience

"Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but one who has a hasty temper exalts folly."

2 - Reflect
Today we can't wait a second for something we ask from others, or rather, that we demand and we want everything to be resolved almost instantly. We find ourselves constantly meeting deadlines for the delivery of tasks at work or requests for immediate answers from those around us and we tend to become increasingly more impatient. When the other person does not comply or even when we are unable to solve something, we get angry and we are filled with rage. That can be dangerous even for our health, since we increase the pressure on ourselves and others.

It is important to meditate on what it is that has us in such a hurry, what is it that can not wait. Constantly losing your temper, or losing it over very small things, will keep us uneasy and far from Our Lord. Because He wants us to have the peace and tranquility to have a life with greater temperance, in which we are able to stop and observe what happens around us. When exasperation invades us, we will have to take a moment to ourselves, breathe deeply and speak with Our Father, to ask for clarity and patience.
