Going straight ahead

There are roads that look beautiful. They have flowers on the sides, beautiful flowers of all colors. There are birds that sing, that teach us their sweet, hypnotic music. These roads are full of sunshine, light that marks where to step. What beautiful paths to stroll along on a summer afternoon. However, beware.


Many times what appears to us as something beautiful, as something innocent, is in reality a wrong path, full of vices, of traps, of deception. How many times has this happened to you? You have let yourself be carried away by the glitter, by appearances, by the beauty of something that was not. Well, you have to know that there are ways that seem right to man, but they are not. In this task, God is there to help you see the good where confusion reigns.



If you follow God's word, you will know right from wrong, moral from immoral. You will know how to distinguish where goodness stands out, that virtue that God teaches you to put above all things. Do not be deceived, do not fall into the trap. The world is full of liars and filibusters, full of envious and deceivers, of people who only base their lives on the purest selfishness.



You are not like them: you are beautiful in your heart, in your soul, for the word of God is there more alive than ever, waiting to go out and be proclaimed to all. God is with you, always. He will help you to follow the path of good and to pursue the light no matter how much darkness you encounter. Just trust and have faith. That is all the Lord asks of you.
