Peace with our neighbor
“If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.”

2 - Reflect
How difficult to be at peace, how difficult to achieve moments of silence, of calm, those seconds in which the soul feels at peace with itself. When it needs nothing more than itself.
We men easily fall into quarrels, we worry about trifles, we gain confidence and then we easily betray it, and so our days go by, among enmities, revenge, anguish, quarrels that have no reason.
How much easier it would be to be at peace with our neighbor, to give help when it is requested, to act as a support, as a good brother, father or son, to remain calm in the face of the hurricane, to calm the mind that does not cease to speak to us, and to convince ourselves in the Love of God, that nothing can be wrong if the Lord is sitting next to us.
Because He is there, and that is why you will never be alone, even if that is how you feel, even if that is how your insides perceive it in those nights of extreme loneliness and fear. How easy it is to seek peace, to live in harmony and cooperation with others.
Think: how much energy do you use to speak ill of others? How much energy do you throw away in the form of envy, jealousy of others? What they have or the relationships they maintain are none of your business.
Surely what they have achieved has been with effort and conviction. How much energy do you waste having destructive or self-destructive thoughts? Why don't you try to live in peace with yourself and others? You will see how easy it is for you, you will see how beautiful life becomes.
