What do we share?
“Now I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you be in agreement and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same purpose.”
1 Corinthians 1:10

It is increasingly difficult to share as a family. With different schedules, distractions, and fatigue, we may begin to move farther away from each other. Some arrive home late from work or too tired after returning home to sit for a few minutes and talk. The children lock themselves in their rooms to do homework or play and do not even have the energy to go out with their friends. The time we spend during dinner is essential, to be able to discuss what happened to us during the day, to be able to share news and celebrate what we have learned or achieved.
To be able to sit at the table with God the Father, thanking him for all the food that He gives us, the shelter He gives us, and the lessons He teaches us. Speaking to our Father alongside the children will also show them that not everything is through technology, that we must return to speaking in human form, to speak face to face. When we let our children get their phones and become distracted from what is happening at dinner, we allow them to move away from their own existences as Christians, because they will be looking at something else rather than listening attentively to the lessons from their devoted parents.
