Many times we receive complaints from those around us. It may be a simple reprimand at work or even worse, from a family member or close friend. Depending on what it is, we must consider the reasons and truly evaluate what happened or is happening. When it comes to work, we may be taking on more tasks than we can deliver or do satisfactorily. Maybe the person is used to us responding instantly, or is used to us staying after hours to solve things. We must put a brake on it and modify our own position against what we are showing the other person that we can do. We must recognize the impossibility it poses to us, during that break from the constant demands.
When the complaints are coming from friends or relatives we must also study in detail what is happening, if it is that we are having a bad attitude or do not paying enough attention when they try to get our attention. Also, if that person is going through a bad time and needs us to be more present in their life, and wants us to accompany them in their sorrow or simply, that we give them a hand in moving forward. We can all evaluate this if we meditate deeply with God about what is happening to us daily.
