2 - Reflect
We had a small farm in the countryside, my father had inherited it from his parents and had worked the land since childhood. When he married my mother, they decided that this would be their place. My brother and I grew up happy, they educated us at home and we were able to learn the trade when since were young. Juan was our neighbors son in the country, a boy with whom we shared homework and also the chores we had in order to help our parents.
But times became hard, my parents could no longer sustain their business and decided to move. I was devastated and really angry with them, I did not want to part ways with my friends and start over in an unknown place. I would not see Juan anymore, nor his sisters. I did not talk to my parents for a long time, until I was an adult and had my own place. I was a single woman, and had not yet found love. My sister was coming through the city and we decided to have dinner at my house. What I did not know was that Juan was also in the city and my sister had prepared a surprise for me: after dinner Juan showed up at the door. From that moment on, we were inseparable and we started our own family. I apologized to my parents, because I understood that our Lord is always going to be the one who sets our plans, and that everything has a divine purpose.
