Searching for success

"And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, just as we abound in love for you."

2 - Reflect
We all have different perspectives on what success means to us. Some may relate it to their professional lives, others to the things they could achieve in any field. We measure what we believe has been fulfilling our objectives in full. We may sometimes compare ourselves with the rest of our brethren to see what they have achieved, but we lose sight of the fact that maybe it does not fit with what we truly want to achieve. Doing that will only keep us frustrated by noticing that the other person has reached a certain position in their life or that they achieved something that we also want, and perhaps their learning process until that point was different from ours and we still have a ways to go.

The real success will be to find God in our hearts and strengthen our bond with Him every day. Other ways of reaching that goal are by being humble and having solidarity with those who need us, treating our neighbors lovingly with respect in the right way, celebrating our loved ones and friends. All this is measured in proportion to each person, safeguarding our moments of happiness. Constantly working towards improvement and evolution will be what brings us closer to what we are looking for.
