Counting our blessings
"Do not let loyalty and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good repute in the sight of God and of people."

2 - Reflect
When we are saturated by a situation it is very easy for us to nurture a pessimistic attitude. Without being able to see what we have before our eyes, we let moments of happiness or enjoyment simply pass by because we are too exhausted. Routines may become too heavy and we begin to doubt what the best way to do things are, because we believe that nothing goes as expected. We started spending less time with our family and friends, and we almost do not treasure the time we have with them.
When times overwhelm us it is important that we remember that God will be there for us. That way we can understand that we are not alone, that there are an infinity of brethren around us willing to give us the love we need. Enjoy a warm hug sometime, a smile as you pass someone, or sit for hours talking to our elders in order to learn of their experiences and adventures, these are all small treasures that we must not forget about. Our Father will keep us alert, so that we won't overlook all the valuable things that we have in our lives. The Lord will be the guide we need so that we learn to prioritize what is valuable, away from the faith we may begin to pay more attention to things that should not occupy us for so long.
