Getting through the pain
“So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all, and especially for those of the family of faith.”

2 - Reflect
There are moments that we think are impassable, we believe at that moment that the suffering will never end. We often are unable to understand, in those situations, that the pain will only be passing through, instead we convince ourselves that this suffering will last an eternity. A change in perspective during that time will give us the encouragement we need in order to move forward. We may not be able to do it on our own, but our Heavenly Father and our brethren will be there to support us. Being willing to listen is important even when we are unable to ask for help or to listen to their advice.
Moments of darkness tend to be bitter and put us in a state of despair that we believe is impossible to leave. As we pass through these times of change or unhappiness, we begin to understand that the transition between one state to the other only depends on the effort we put into being able to continue moving forward. Even though there will be pains or losses that take time to process, there will be other minor dislikes that, just by remaining in faith and trusting in the Lord, we can traverse without feeling completely helpless. Because we will realize that it is only a matter of time, and as the days go by and we meditate on what we are going through, it will be easier to recover our happiness and calmness.
