1 - READ THE WORD

The truth in silence

“Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”
Phillipians 4:6-8

2 - Reflect
Many of us live at a very hectic pace that make us lose focus little by little. The order of our priorities are becoming increasingly chaotic when we do not have a moment to stop. We continue to accumulate responsibilities and commitments that are very difficult to fulfill. We begin to transform ourselves into permanently stressed beings, trapped in routine and in our own needs. So, when someone asks us for advice or that we keep them compan, we are so overwhelmed by the activities that remain that we do not respond in the best way, or maybe, we ignore the requests.

It is important to be able to stop when we are overwhelmed and reconnect with what is important. In silence we will find the real reason why we strive every day to improve and be more supportive of our brothers. That reason is God our Father who, with His unconditional love, will bring us peace when we are upset. When we lose our will or are overwhelmed by daily events our Heavenly Father will be our comfort, he will be our place of rest. Because only in Him will we find the glory and recognition to be strong again and be able to continue on our path. We will be blessed with His tranquility and received in His arms.
