“Whatever your task, put yourselves into it, as done for the Lord and not for your masters, since you know that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward; you serve the Lord Christ.”

Continuing our tasks with the same dedication can be tedious when we are hopeless or frustrated. Many times it is not about wanting to fulfill what others entrusted us, but rather commitments that we assumed with ourselves. Finish a job, start our studies on a certain topic, start the search for a new home. All of these can be activities that demand a lot of time and energy, and being too comprehensive may discourage us in our first attempt. The important thing is to follow the steps calmly, sometimes the journeys are longer than we had thought.
Being in the company of God the Father will always be a good omen, if we surrender ourselves to His will and to His divine work we will surely achieve those goals with greater joy and peace. Getting angry upon starting, or raising tons of doubts that boycott our path will only make it longer and more tedious. Instead, placing our trust in Our Heavenly Father, in the fact that He alone will know the problems that may occur and will let us know that this is the best for us and for our growth as faithful Christians. It is then that we will truly be rewarded, continuing on to the end despite the tests that path may present us.
