Getting to God
"The Lord, your God, is in your midst, a warrior who gives victory; he will rejoice over you with gladness, he will renew you in his love; he will exult over you with loud singing"

We may sometimes feel a bit overwhelmed and disoriented by our path to faith. We usually confuse having a moment of temporary meditation, with having a moment of true immersion and investing quality time. Sometimes we look at the path that others have traveled to reach their spirituality and closeness to Our Father, and we may feel a little suspicious because we believe that we have not reached that point. It is useless to be upset about having flaws if we are not willing to change any of the aspects that afflict us. Believing we know everything puts us in a place where arrogance will take hold of our actions and will soon darken our future.
The real revolution begins within ourselves and with our own desire to be better. When we truly appropriate that, then nothing nor anybody will be able to stop us, but as long as we keep thinking that others perform magic tricks in order to achieve their goals or are helped by others, we will be lost in our beliefs. Taking charge of our own choices is important and God will be a guide in that process. It will not be easy or always happy, but the more energy we put into improving and learning something new every day, we will live with greater peace and rejoicing.
