“Do not let loyalty and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good repute in the sight of God and of people.”

2 - Reflect
Sometimes we have no energy to undertake something we would like to do. Many people around us can tell us things so that we do not even try, for instance: we are already too old to make that trip, we do not have the money to buy that dream house, we are not smart enough to get a diploma. Everyone has their opinions about it and many times they may not be malicious, but they somehow limit us.
What we must understand at those times is that they are only projecting their own fears, which may not be ours. So they say it to try to take care of us and to keep us from getting frustrated when we make mistakes, but if God has designated that path for us then we will have to go down it. With mistakes and obstacles, if Our Father wants our steps to go that way then our path will be more powerful than all the fears we may have.
It is a matter of getting whenever we can and want to, and listening to the advice of our brothers but understand that there is something greater than our fears or theirs: it is God the Father's call. Even when we are tired or in doubt, what Our Lord offers us will weigh more than our confused thoughts. He will never renounce us, and we must keep our promise to be faithful.
