2 - Reflect
Our Father is going to be the one in charge of supplying all the things we need as His children, but we as brothers must help each other through generosity. There are thousands of people who need our help at this time. Not only for a home or a meal, but they also require us to bring them to the Word and to the faith again, because at some point in their path they have deviated from the correct path. Our Father will be pleased if we use our time and effort to give love to our brothers. Our spirit of generosity is not based only on what we can contribute from our economic resources, but from our emotional resources and as devout Christians.
Neither is it about helping your neighbor only when they are in need or when some terrible event happens, such as losing everything in a flood. It is about helping every day, all those who need us, our dedication, and our prayer. We must turn solidarity into a habit, in order to be grateful for the love and mercy of our Heavenly Father. Around us there may be people who need a hug, to be helped, to be considered or heard. Let us not lose sight of them so as not to lose our connection with God.
