2 - Reflect
“For God speaks in one way, and in two, though people do not perceive it.”
Job 33:14
Who approaches Him must believe that He exists. We find that God speaks to us continually and it will depend on our sensitivity to hear what He has to say to us.
God speaks to us through the Bible, as Peter would say "We also have the safest prophetic word ..." referring to it.
In these times of technological advances, reading habits fell abruptly, and not necessarily because people are not interested in reading, but because we are surrounded by distractions. We can not stop checking the red alarm of Facebook that tells us that someone commented on our picture or gave it likes, the green tones of WhatsApp, the hearts of Instagram, etc. How important would it be to be able to reflect on our habit of reading the Bible, in the end it is the only way that our faith will increase. But besides the word, God also speaks to us through teaching. Paul says if God constituted it that way, it is because there are situations that warrant it.
Our mentors have a journey, they went through it and they still travel it because the race is not over. When we go through some stage where we can not advance or understand given our limitations, no matter how much we read the Bible we need a teacher, counselor, or a leader. Even when we have no problems, it is necessary to listen to the voice of God through teaching, since it is the divine will that it be so.
How important is it to be able to listen to those who speak with their testimony of life about the word of God.
