We christians, have a clear goal, to bring the gospel of salvation to every creature. We were all born in this human jungle, corrupted by a heritage from Adam and in great need of God.
For his part, Satan also has his goal in mind, and within the time he has set, will do everything possible to carry out his goal. Now, what are the maneuvers that this spirit of evil uses to fulfill its mission? Let's analyze some of them:
Let's not forget that Satan is a "spirit" and as such has no physical body (hands, mouths, feet). Then all his work is done through people. Each human being has a "spirit, soul, and body". When an "unclean spirit" takes the mind of any human being, it controls their will. A simple example to understand this, is the Gerasene Demoniac, when his father comes to Jesus to ask for help, he tells him to free his son from that evil spirit because he threw himself in a fire. How did he do it? Taking control of his mind and making the young man decide to take his own life. These issues are sometimes taboo to talk about in church, but they are extremely important and more so in these times where the youth suicide rate increased drastically.
When we do not find peace and we discuss everything or our outlook is quite dark, we must not forget that even though the enemy has a definite purpose, Christ also has it and we, through His promise, become partners with Him to achieve life eternal
