2 - Reflect
How was Jesus' treatment received when He came? "He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him." This truth is still present today, this history repeats itself, and will be repeated again and again before the Lord comes in the clouds of heaven. The deceptions of the enemy are on those who dwell on earth "But to all who received Him He gave power to become children of God".
After carefully preparing this world as man's dwelling place, God contemplated and rejoiced, He declared good in a great way. So he will accept and rejoice in the reform made by those who, having received Christ as their Savior, have obtained power to become children of God, and that is achieved through the name of Jesus which is the seal that we each have. Paul says that we can be "filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual intelligence," walking "as is worthy of the Lord," "bearing fruit in every good work, and growing in the knowledge of God." Isn't there enough affliction in this earth because of sin and who bears its curse.
To move us to consecrate ourselves to the work of proclaiming the message that "God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in him , shall not perish, but have eternal life". Today more than ever, we have to reflect that we are not mere passing mortals in this life, we are children of God and heirs of His promises in order to carry the glorious message of the gospel.
