A treasure in your reach.

“The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which someone found and hid; then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.”
Matthew 13:44

Jesus is the treasure, and when the rubbish of the world has been swept away, we can discern its infinite value ... The divinity of Christ was a hidden treasure. While on earth, divinity sometimes flashed through humanity and revealed its true character. The creator of heaven manifested Himself in flesh in the person of Jesus, and to that manifestation He called Him son. And the omnipresence of God was reflected when He spoke of Him "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased" Matthew 3:17. But the nation to which Christ came, though professing to be the people of God, did not recognize the heavenly treasure in the person of Jesus Christ.

Christ was not recognized in His garment of humanity. He was the divine Teacher, the savior of the world before our eyes, the glorious treasure given to humanity. He was the bearer of our sins, but His incomparable glory was hidden under a cover of poverty and suffering. He veiled His glory so that the divinity could touch humanity and the treasure of immense value was not discerned by the human race, and all that majesty set it aside to live among us "The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us" John 1:14 Certainly, the treasure is hidden in the human garment. Christ is the unfathomable riches, and whoever finds Christ finds heaven, there is no treasure greater than that. The human being who contemplates Jesus, who dwells by faith in His unparalleled charms, will find the eternal treasure in the celestial dwellings.
