2 - Reflect
God gives us intelligence, judgment, and reasoning among other things. The life He has given us is full of beautiful moments, some charged with sacred responsibility, which we should consider lightlyeven for a moment. Our lives are as certainly marked in the books of heaven as a photograph on the photographer's plate.
It is the love of selfish comfort, the love of pleasure, our self-love, self-exaltation, which prevents us from learning the precious lessons of life in the school of Christ. The duty of a Christian is to not allow himself to be modeled by the environment and circumstances, but to live above the factors that surround him by forming his character according to the divine Model.
Although it seems difficult to reach, it is the rod we have on our way to the truth. That is why we must be faithful wherever we are, to do His duty faithfully, taking advantage of the opportunities that God gives us, which certainly are not few.
If we die in Christ, learning from His school, we will not be lacking in understanding. Looking at the cross we can overcome all the passions and practices that are not holy. Whatever the nature of our work, we will take the principles of Jesus to it and our identity will receive value before the task is delivered into His hands. Our time will be dedicated to work, it is not ours, but belongs to the one who pays us. If we are careless and waste material, time, failing to be industrious and diligent, we are recorded in the books of heaven as unfaithful servants.
