The dimension of time is revealed to us as we travel the path that God the Father has laid out for us.
It is a natural fact. When we are children and adolescents, time seems to pass in a different way. It is the time to fill our hearts with the purest and most authentic Love, for it is in childhood that we are closest to our Lord.
In our youthful years we live unconcerned about time and the moment when we will have to face greater responsibilities seems far away.
Time, however, is one of the most precious gifts given by the Most High. That is why we must be aware that using it in a proper way, serving the Lord, is fundamental.
Taking Christ as an example, we can see that his understanding of Time was total and he used it effectively to transmit the teachings of God the Father to all his children. He was very clear that in His purpose, taking advantage of time was essential.
The magnitude of His Mission allowed Him to understand that His most perfect action would be to share with mortals the Love of His Father.
Therefore, in following the Lord, we must make a conscious use of Time to give it to His marvelous Work. This does not mean not taking moments of rest to renew energies and with renewed strength to honor His Glory.
Our Commitment will be rewarded by the beautiful results that the Lord will show us.
