Unburden to embrace what is real
“Jesus answered, 'If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.' ”
Mathew 19:21

2 - Reflect
This pray is a valuable and profound tool that God the Father avails Himself of in order to get through to our spirit. The people starting from that point begin to practice its truth, knowing new limits to their will and feeling more free each time.
However there are certain attachments that we harbor as “true” in our hearts, or habits that are hard to abandon. In this verse the person that approached Jesus was afraid to free himself from material things to approach the kingdom of God. And this is only because his heart was filled with false truths, false earthly securities that would only lead to material gains and needs. Because of that, let us not be afraid to abandon the slavery of goods to be able to be spiritually rich. His reward will be immense and true.
