2 - Reflect
These days it is very common for all of us to have demands that we believe are urgent. In our jobs, with our family and friends, even with ourselves. This period of urgency and the establishment of priorities causes us to run from one side to the other often without understanding why we are doing it. Starting out our days by talking to God will give us a good perspective on what is truly important. Giving ourselves over to thinking with Him about what we have to face in the following hours will show us what is important and what can be resolved later, or even on what things we can ask others for help.
Our only demand must be that of our relationship with God. We must work on it as a priority, to speak with the Lord daily in order to alleviate any tensions and also share the good that happens to us on a daily basis. It is easy to lose perspective when we are permanently in demand and we can fall into doing the same to our brothers. Stopping to slow down our pace which is not allowing us to evaluate what we are doing, or plan our future actions, is because we are not making ourselves available to God. He will show us the plans that are to come.
