2 - Reflect
We often concentrate only on our own needs and do not think about how this affects those around us. We wantonly want something, we bend over backwards for a raise, we do not rest so we can buy that late model car. Without really being conscious about what matters, we may stray our attention to the material plane. We become greedy or overly ambitious, without thinking for a second that we are forgetting to have solidarity or to be compassionate with others. Our brethren surely notice the difference, but are we able to if we are not following our Father's lessons.

When we are only worried about getting an immediate happiness we will often become selfish, because we will do anything to satisfy ourselves. When we do not have limits or we demand too much from others we become blinded by our greed. We should not treasure riches translated into objects, but rather spiritual riches, that will allow us to be closer to God daily. When we feel estranged from our Heavenly Father we should seek moments to connect, places of deep meditation to return to our path of faith. We should keep talking to God even when we believe He does not hear us or has forgotten us, because He will always be there for us, even when we are wrong, even when we stray from His care.
