1 - READ THE WORD
An act of faith
“But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him, and his righteousness to children’s children, to those who keep his covenant and remember to do his commandments.”
Psalms 103:17-18

2 - Reflect
When we are struck down by a situation, we often ask Our Lord to reward us in some way, to show us a true act of faith. Obscured and on dark roads of resentment, we may let our beliefs be at stake. We may question everything when something harms us, when our heart is hurt, when our hope is not part of our daily life. Tired and confused by what happens around us, we beg for a change, something that moves us away from that situation.
In our desperate cry for help, we must remember that Jesus committed the greatest of all acts of faith, forgiving all our sins on the cross. As children of God we will also have to make our own sacrifices to have peace and tranquility in our lives. We must open ourselves to God's love and trust in Him, in what He will teach us in each moment, in each experience. That is where we will receive the divine sign that we long for, that we ask in exchange for renewing our commitment, to reconcile with our Heavenly Father when our faith is fickle. We will find refuge in the Lord, in His wisdom, so that we can move away from those moments of desolation and overcome any obstacle that may arise.
