In these modern times, there is a constant misinformation or tendency to distort the message, which at times is alarming. Within their empty propaganda, they sell right and left a very particular concept of success.
I am sure that if we stop on the street and ask passersby, as a survey, whether they consider themselves successful, I bet most, if not all, would give their respective answers based on their professional career or the assets they have amassed over the years.
And while those ultimately are accomplishments, in God's eyes that's not what really matters, what really counts to Him. Christ intends our parameters of success to be based on our spiritual wealth rather than our economic wealth.
A luminous spirit is richer than one that is obscured by the fog of greed.
It is then our duty as children of God, as worthy messengers of His Holy Word, to be imitators of His deeds, spokesmen of His teachings, thus demonstrating that nothing can stand against love, our most precious asset.
