1 - READ THE WORD
An Action Leading to Divine Example
My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.

2 - Reflect
Every now and then I take time to look back and see all those things I have accomplished, and I am not only talking about those things I worked hard for, but also about all those difficult situations I was able to get through with God's help.
In such moments I received many wise advices and words of encouragement, demonstrations of affection that suggested me how to act or what path to take. At a distance now, and seeing how those problems were left behind, I remembered those people with their advice and I realized that many times they were not consistent with the examples they gave.
That is why I think it is fair to talk about the importance of backing up all our words with actions that justify them. It does not make much sense to advise someone a certain directive, if I do not use the same solution when I find myself in a similar situation. So let us remember how Jesus used to do, by first acting silently and then explaining why he did what he did.
Personally, I believe that this is the right way to set an example: let your neighbor see what you do so that he can imitate you, but also know why you do it, so that he can understand it. It all comes down to leading by example, just as Jesus did.
