Light in Eternal Darkness
This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

2 - Reflect
When I grew up, I got into the habit of getting up very early so that I could make the most of my day and get a good night's rest. Gone were my teenage outings when I used to return home at the crack of dawn. With the birth of my children, my responsibilities made me see life differently.
Getting up early fills me with a different energy, I see everything in a more positive way and the sunlight predisposes me well. When we talk about God, his light is manifested in Jesus. This light shines in the darkness of today's troubled world and gives us, with the awakening of a new day, the best opportunity to get out of this darkness and to focus on the marvelous plans that the Lord calls us to undertake.
Then let us remember that even among those dark shadows we can see evidence of his presence at our side. If today we walk in shadows, let us take advantage of that fall to rise with faith and rediscover that the light of God will always be there to regain the brightness in our hearts.
