2 - Reflect
We often postpone making choices or doing things because we simply think that we will have an infinite amount of time to do it. A dream trip, pursuing a new profession, venturing to do that thing we’ve never dared to do. The truth is that believing that opportunities can occur at any time sometimes makes us lose that opportunity we truly desire. When we decide to wait to do it until the perfect circumstances are in our control, will probably already be too late. Making excuses over and over again or sabotaging our plans because we do not have the will, is going to keep us away from our expectations. It will make us leave everything for tomorrow when we could be taking control of our future.
When laziness or lack of energy keeps us from getting what we want, we must share our plans with God. Our Lord will guide us and fill us with the strength we need to commit ourselves to our well-being. Having moments in connection with Him and showing Him our desires will bring us closer to achieving them. If we are lost on how to do it, or what choices will bring us closer to achieving it, we must trust that God will show us the best path to achieving it. Because our desires are His own, because as a Father He wants to take care of us and be the guardian of our path.
