2 - Reflect
It is important that children learn what the true Christian values are surrounded by their family. It is very common for children to be distracted by other things and activities because they are experiencing the world that surrounds them, but it is the job of prior generations to help them strengthen their primary bond with God. When parents sit down to talk with their children about Christian teachings, they make it possible for the children to see the importance of remaining in the faith. Values such as solidarity, respect for oneself as well as others, and generosity of heart are some of the concepts that should be shared in the home.
It is important that as adults we think that children are being permanently formed, and that they will often copy what we do as adults. So if we lack respect for someone, raise our voices when angry, or seem violent when upset, the child will surely copy what they saw from these examples that we have provided. As a habit encourage conversations with God the Father, reflecting on their choices, and valuing their achievements, so that they will surely become good people.
