When we go through a very deep despair we may walk dark roads and if our faith falters, we may move away from God. The moments of the loss of a loved one represents deep and irreparable pain. Also, projects that do not come to fruition can be interpreted as personal failures and can turn us against God. The truth is that going through all those situations in His company will lighten the load. By staying in the word and taking refuge in His Church we can reassemble the pieces that have been broken.
Our pain will be lighter and we will find greater peace if we remain under His care. Along with others in Church, we can meet colleagues and brethren who have gone through similar lessons. It will not be easy to avoid feeling alone when we are drowning in pain, but there will always be people willing to help us in moments of great solitude, when we think that everything is lost. We can always find love in the hearts of those around us and find their help when we do not find where we must go. Approaching our faith will be the only thing that guides us when we are in moments of confusion, it will help us to be able to heal our wounds and reduce the pain.
