Rest for myself

“And this is the boldness we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.”

2 - Reflect
The pace of our lives these days can be voracious if we do not take some precautions. We live running from one place to another without even taking a few minutes to think about what we are doing, to consider if it helps others, or if it will help us to be a better person. We stay stressed and tired, without finding a sure path, and without knowing where we are really going. We lose the notion of how important it is to have a moment of relaxation, but above all, the notion of deep conversation with God the Father.

Arriving home after a hectic day of activities and preparing to pray will often make us find peace instantly. Because that will be our moment of reflection, of asking for help from Our Father and in our conversation, we will approach Him. Thus, God the Father will show us the best paths, the best decisions to make, and we will not just be people who surrender to the dizzying pace of the city, but we will analyze what is really happening in our future. Thinking about how we did during the day, whether we have been unjust, whether we should ask someone for forgiveness the next day, or if we have to acknowledge that we were wrong, all this will arise from our willingness to start a dialogue with God.
