1 - READ THE WORD

Share as a family

“Keep these words that I am commanding you today in your heart. Recite them to your children and talk about them when you are at home and when you are away, when you lie down and when you rise.”

2 - Reflect
Each family has its own dynamic: times to get up, to have dinner, or just to get together. What happens at these times is that often those schedules do not coincide, some leave home earlier, others return after dinner so exhausted that they no longer want to talk or share the events of their day. It is important that we maintain Christian values in a vivid way in our homes. Having moments of unity between all the members is going to be key.

You can allocate small times in the week to share an appropriate plan with everyone. Also, maintaining habits such as being thankful for the food at dinner or being prepared to talk about what happened to each person during their day which are both good practices to continue being faithful and devoted. A fluid conversation with everyone can make them reassess conducts that are possibly wrong or can help each member make the best choices for their path.

Family is a blessing and it is a daily effort to promote its union. Be thankful daily with a prayer for all your blessings, and for the effort behind that support. God will always maintain our family and will accompany us even when our routines keep us away.
