I am the light of the world

Is there something more privileged in our life than being children of God? I was born in a Christian home where I had the great blessing of being instructed on this precious path to salvation. Many will say that I had many tools, since I was a little girl, to be able to live a full Christian life, but it was not like that. I read once that human beings are the set of situations that we live. And I think that's the way it is. Everything that we live in our life, all the emotions that we have to face, whether for good or for bad, determine who we are. Does this make me think, and does it lead me to reflect on how I am taking care of my light? That light that God gives us, particularly to His children through His spirit, that which makes us different, that fills us with His values. How are we taking care of it? We are salt according to the Lord. Do we believe it? Are we empowered by His word and leading a life according to what He determines in us?


If we do not believe it, if it is difficult for us to recognize ourselves as heirs of the King, I invite you to declare it every day in our lives. I am sure that God has plans for the welfare of His children, except that sometimes we are distracted and can not see ourselves the way He sees us. Finally, I encourage you that every time a thought comes that does not correspond to what we are, you may reject it so that it does not distract us from our goal of being with Him someday.
