The wisdom of your gaze

“Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you.”

The wisdom that God the Father gives us by telling us to set our gaze on what we have in front of us, is in the sense that we must pay special attention to what is right, to what is dignified, to what comes from morals that do not make attempts against others. It refers to looking only to what is just and pure.

And setting your gaze is to observe analytically and with reflexion, not just a soft look without engaging internally. In that way, setting our sights, we obtain answers that surge from a real observation of what we have in front of us, being able to be wiser and choose justly what will occupy that place in our lives; what will we have before us, that we will choose to follow with every step, because it really inspires us, setting aside banal things, that do not lead us to any true place.
