2 - Reflect
When we forget that God is watching over us and for our welfare, negative thoughts may take part in our daily lives. We get up without wanting to start the day, we ask ourselves over and over again why we continue existing. We begin to get depressed, to devalue our beliefs, our values as Christians. The meaning of things may seem dark and without purpose, away from Our Lord everything will be tinged with indifference and pain. Being able to go through bad moments will give us the courage we need in order to continue in our faith. If we remain trapped in that moment and cling to our sorrow we will not be able to grow as devoted children.
God will still be there to receive us when we notice that something must change. It will only depend on us to get ahead, to trust that we can be better again. It will be a sad moment and we may also consider it a personal defeat, but it will be just that: a moment. Like everything good, bad things will happen, and if God is with us through that process everything will be easier. His will shall be done if we are willing to open our hearts to Christ, to His teaching and goodness, to punishment when we make a mistake and to celebrate and rejoice when we succeed.
